Provincial Nominee Programs

The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) is a program that allows Canadian provinces and territories to nominate individuals who want to immigrate to Canada and who have the skills, education, and work experience required to contribute to the local economy. The main provincial nominee programs are:

Waterfalls

This program allows the province of Ontario to nominate individuals for permanent residency based on their ability to contribute to the local economy.

Bridge

This program allows the province of British Columbia to nominate individuals for permanent residency based on their ability to contribute to the local economy.

Calgary

This program is for foreign workers and international graduates who have gained Canadian work experience and want to immigrate to Canada permanently.

These are just some examples of the main provincial nominee programs in Canada. Each province and territory has its own specific requirements and selection criteria, and interested individuals are encouraged to review the details of each program to determine their eligibility by clicking on this link.  The PNP is a way for individuals to immigrate to Canada that is faster and more straightforward than the federal immigration programs, as it allows provinces to nominate individuals for permanent residency based on their specific needs and local economic conditions.
